Michael Henry builds contemporary Arts &
Crafts furniture using fine joinery, exotic inlays and quartersawn
white oak that is fumed to a rich golden brown in the traditional
manner.
Other species are available upon request. His raised panels
offer a unique profile developed over decades of design, and
most of my pieces feature inlays and accents in vibrant species
such as yellowheart, ebony, and purpleheart. Michael Henry has
an aversion to portable belt sanders and prefers to work wood
with hand tools. While some existing pieces are available much
of his work is comissioned.
