A mermaid is comfortably seated in her
rock. The left outline of her head and body describe the right
profile of a woman’s head. A seal lies nearby while
two whales swim past. A few birds gather around her. The head
of an elephant with a green tusk partially appears.
The
identical scene appears also in a serigraph edition of 300
on Lenox 100 paper stock.
